Objective:To study the curative effect of microwave ablation combined with 5-fluorouracil intratumoral injection in treating colon cancer tumor-bearing mice.Methods:c57 male mice were collected. Colon cancer tumor-bearing mice models were established and randomly divided into the control group, the chemotherapy group and the combined group; the control group received saline treatment, the chemotherapy group received 5-Fu intratumoral injection and the combined group received MWA combined with 5-Fu intratumoral injection. Then survival rates of three groups were observed; tumor diameters were measured and tumor inhibition rates were calculated; tumor tissue was collected and mRNA contents of related molecules were detected. Results: Both tumor inhibition rates and survival rates of the chemotherapy group and the combined group were higher than those of the control group, and both tumor inhibition rate and survival rate of the combined group were higher than those of the chemotherapy group; mRNA contents of Survivin, hTERT, Tspan8, LETM1, GPR56, DDL4 and Ephrin-B2 in tumor tissue of the chemotherapy group and the combined group were lower than those of the control group and mRNA contents of Caspase3, Caspase9 and PCAF were higher than those of the control group; mRNA contents of Survivin, hTERT, Tspan8, LETM1, GPR56, DDL4 and Ephrin-B2 in tumor tissue of the combined group were lower than those of the chemotherapy group and mRNA contents of Caspase3, Caspase9 and PCAF were higher than those of the chemotherapy group. Conclusion: Microwave ablation combined with 5-fluorouracil intratumoral injection can more effectively inhibit tumor growth and improve survival rate, while inhibit expression of proliferative and invasive molecules and increase expression of pro-apoptotic molecules.
