《红楼梦》是我国古典小说的巅峰,其思想性和艺术性高度地融合在一起.作为整部小说的"文眼","诗谶"金陵判词对作品中故事的走向和人物命运进行了宏观的预告,充分体现了"一声两歌"笔法的艺术特色.在判词中作者使用双关、析字、藏词、典故和委婉语等,展现了"一声两歌"笔法的艺术特色.以杨译本和霍译本为例,运用文本解读、语言文化对比分析和量化统计分析等具体方法来分析判词英译,考察译者如何处理这些"一声两歌"笔法现象.研究发现,英汉文化和语言方面的差异以及"一声两歌"笔法的艺术特色给判词英译带来了种种障碍,两译本都没能很好地做到"译彩纷呈".

As the acme of Chinese classic novels,Hongloumeng highly combines the artistic forms with the contents. Panci in Hongloumeng foretells the ending of the story and the fate of the charac-ters,which vividly represents the unique artistic feature,namely,two songs in one voice. In Honglou-meng,this unique artistic feature is used in puns,dissembling characters,hidden words,allusions and euphemisms. This paper taking the two English versions of Hongloumeng as the examples,with the methods of text interpretation,comparative study of language and culture and quantitative analysis, tries to analyze how and why the translators transform this unique artistic feature. After analysis,the paper only finds that the transformation of this unique artistic feature is not so successful and gives its own implications for literary translation and translating Chinese classical poetry into English.
