To get rid of the influence of general education on vo-cational education in China, many new education ideas have been proposed in succession, and situational teaching has been at-tracted the general attention by education workers. Situational teaching method is a new teaching method emerging in Chinese teaching reform. Through the teaching design of "Reading Card Making", this paper explores the application of situational teach-ing method in higher vocational Chinese teaching.
