According to the new architecture of INDRA DVOR system VRB-53D , generation and modulation of the transmitted signal and the control process of key parameters is described by theoretical analysis in this paper. The composition of transmitter and function of each board is summarized at first , generation and modulation of the carrier and sideband signal is elaborated refer to operating principle of the Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) chip. Then amplitude and phase control mechanisms of the carrier and sideband signal is elaborated , including several installation problems that need to pay attention. Finally , comparison of function realization is given out among three kinds of mainstream equipment, which extracts new ideas for the technical staff in routine maintenance and procurement selection.
