Positive psychology is a new trend in psychology, which has penetrated into other disciplines such as pedagogy, economics, management and so on. Tourism is a discipline that is dedicated to improving the person-al and social happiness index, and it is fit for the purpose of positive psychology. As a result, they two should be more integrated. With leisure tourism becoming the development trend of China's tourism industry, Jiangxi Province should seize the opportunity, based on its own resources, to create a red leisure travel destination. This arti-cle based on the positive psychology researches and analyses on the red tourism in Jiangxi Province, figures out the existing problems, and puts forward some suggestions on the development of red leisure tourism in Jiangxi Province.
