以SZ市城市居民作为调查对象，以居民满意度作为幸福感的评价指标，对具有不同个体特征的居民幸福感是否存在差异、个体特征和幸福感之间是否存在关联进行验证研究。结果显示：不同性别、不同年龄的居民间幸福感不存在显著差异，不同文化程度的居民幸福感呈显著差异，性别、年龄、婚姻对居民幸福感没有影响，文化程度和居民幸福感呈正相关。由此可见，要提高居民幸福感，应主要从以下几方面着力：提高居民的文化素质；发展经济，创造就业机会，提高居民的经济收入；尊重传统，引导居民开展丰富的休闲娱乐生活；完善公共服务体系。

The purpose of this research is to give an empirical demonstration on whether or not there exist differences in the well-being of different individuals and how individual characteristics relate to personal well-being. After surveying the urban resi-dents in SZ City with satisfaction as the evaluation index of well-being, this study identifies no significant difference in the well-be-ing of people of different sex and age, but shows a remarkable difference in the well-being of people at different education level. Gender, age, and marriage produce little influence on people’ s well-being, while a positive correlation exists between one’ s edu-cation level and well-being. To improve people’ s well-being, this author believes that importance should be attached to improving the access to quality education, boosting people’ s income by developing economy and creating more jobs, respecting tradition and providing quality recreation and life enrichment activities, and improving public service system.
