The paper performs stress analysis on the pitch hinged support at the root of scrapper boom of gantry doub-le-scraper reclaimer based on AS4100, and puts forward further improvement.Effectivity of the improved hinged support is verified through calculation.With the finite element analysis, the improved hinged support proves reliable.
