This paper introduces the basic principle of the shock echo method and its application in nondestructive testing of concrete structure, and combined with engineering examples,based on the prefabricated pipe tightly,the whole state of empty and half empty,and the grouting com-pactness detection,point out the shock echo method to detect precast pipe grouting compactness is a feasible method.
