With the increasing coal production, coal mine mechanical and electrical equipment plays an important role in the coal mine safety production, due to the backward coal mine mechanical and electrical equipment technology, part of the electrical and mechanical equipments have hidden dangers and disadvantages. Coal mine mechanical and electrical automation is the main melody of mine safety production development, it improves the reliability of the normal operation of electrical and mechanical equipment automation, and it is the root of the mine production safety work. In this paper the necessity of focusing on coal mine mechanical and electrical automation and points are discussed and analyzed.
