形成性评估是指在教学过程中进行的过程性和发展性评估，其积极作用已被众多学者所认可。本研究在英语本科专业开设的《英语报刊阅读》课程中引入形成性评估体系，通过实证研究来探索一个适用于应用型本科院校选修课的教学模式和评价模式，从而提高选修课的教学质量，促进学生的学习热情和提高他们的语言应用能力。

The formative evaluation refers to the teaching of process and developmental process of evaluation and its positive role has been recognized by many scholars. In this study English undergraduate courses in the English newspaper reading "the introduction of formative assessment system, through the empirical research to explore a suitable for applied undergraduate college elective course teaching mode and evaluation mode, so as to improve the teaching quality of elective courses, promote students' learning enthusiasm and improve their language application ability.
