This paper introduces several geophysical prospecting methods for checking the cage length of cast-in-situ pile. According to the field condition and the development of instruments,magnetic method is selected as an effective method that the detection project carries out. Magnetic method is based on magnetic differences between concrete and reinforcement cage,rock-soil near pile to conclude the length of reinforcement cage by measuring the change of vertical magnetic field and magnetic gradient along the depth direction of reinforcement cage. Theoretical analysis and the engineering examples show that magnetic method is feasible and effective for checking the length of reinforcement cage of cast-in-situ pile.
