从时空压缩视角探讨中国社会建设的特点,认为从传统性、现代性和后现代性的关系来看,社会建设任务异常艰巨;在与经济建设的关系中,社会建设具有扭曲性;与其他各项事业相比,社会建设明显滞后.当前,中国经济进入新常态,这为加强社会建设提供了新机遇.应抓住时空压缩条件下社会建设的特点,在调整社会关系、发展社会组织、改革社会结构、增进社会福祉、改善社会生活、加强社会治理等方面,开辟社会建设的新局面.

This paper discusses the features of social construction in China from the perspective of time-space compression, contending that the task of social construction is tremendous considering the relationship among tradition, modernity, and post-modernity. In its relationship with economic construction, social con-struction tends to be distorted;compared with other undertakings, social construction obviously lags behind. At present, the Chinese economy enters an age of new normality, which provides new opportunities for strengthening social construction. A new situation of social construction should be built in the age of time-space compression through adjusting social relations, developing social organizations, reforming social struc-ture, promoting social welfare, improving social life, and strengthening social management.
