Configuration software can monitor the status of each equipment. Comparing with traditional 2D configuration software, 3D configuration software provides more of visual 3D monitoring environment and easy acquisition of information about equipment, quality, environment and energy consumption. In this paper, we introduce the application of 3D configuration software in foundry industry, which provide great convenience for managers of global control and enhance the level of management.
