To eliminate the non-performance differences between departments, an appraisal leveling spreadsheet was designed in Excel. It automatically leveled the different appraisal scores between departments and made the highest scores, the lowest scores and the average scores from different appraisal systems to the same. Moreover, the spreadsheet also maintained the original name list of the employees. The scoring differences were scaled in the same proportion and then the non-performance differences were eliminated.
