Erigeron breviscapus injection%PCI%Myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury%Oxygen free radical
Objective: To observe the protective effect of Erigeron breviscapus (E. breviscapus) injection on patients with myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) interventional therapy. Methods: A total of 60 patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) due to AMI were included in the study and randomized into the study group and the control group after operation with 30 cases in each group. The patients in the two groups were given routine treatments after PCI, including ACEI or ARB, nitrates, low molecular weight heparin, enteric coated aspirin, clopidogrel, β-receptor blocker, and statins. Based on the routine treatment, intravenous drip of E. breviscapus was added to the patients in the study group, 60 mL every time, once a day, while the patients in the control group were only given routine treatment. The changes of serum IL-6, TNF-α, SOD, MDA, and NO before and after operation between the two groups were compared. Results: The serum serum IL-6, TNF-α, and MDA levels after operation in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The serum SOD and NO levels after operation in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusions: E. breviscapus injection can effectively eliminate the oxygen free radicals, restrain the inflammatory response, reduce the myocardial damage degree, and plays a role in protective effect on the myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
