搭乘全球资本主义的快车,近年来国际教育不断拓展自身外延,将带有各种国际元素的教育实践活动囊于麾下。但在高速发展的同时,国际教育也难以抵挡西方现代性的顽疾,在很大程度上被异化为“商品”,完全遵循全球市场扩张的逻辑,漠视教育的价值性,无视民族国家的教育主权,也鲜有对自身精英属性的价值反思。在工具理性的主宰下,国际教育的“国际情怀”被越冲越淡,甚至沦为商家炒作的噱头。要维护我国国际教育的教育性、公益性和意识形态安全性,我们在走向世界的过程中必须保持理性和自主,必须对全球资本主义和新自由主义进行深刻的反思与批判,特别是要认清其维护市场霸权,维护市场垄断者利益的本质。

The current round of capital globalization has encouraged the growth and expansion of inter-national education during recent years.However,while experiencing rapid development,international ed-ucation can hardly avoid the inherent problem of western modernity and has been instrumentalized into“commercial product”to a great extent.International education worships the global market,ignores value commitment of education and the educational sovereignty of a nation,and seldom reflects on its elite na-ture.Dominated by instrumentalism,the “international spirit”of international education has been fading and even becomes a publicity stunt.In order to protect the educational and public nature and the ideolog-ical safety of international education in the globalization trend,we must maintain our rationale and autono-my and take a critical stance toward global capitalism and neo-liberalism.More importantly,we should be clear about the nature of international education in terms of protecting its market dominance and protecting the interests of those who monopolize the market.
