著名数学家、经济学家约翰·纳什提出了纳什均衡这个重要概念，它已成为博弈论的重要核心概念．由于纳什对博弈论的重要贡献，他获得了1994年的诺贝尔经济学奖．纳什在纯数学方面的贡献也是巨大的，特别是在微分几何和偏微分方程方面的成就更显辉煌．主要成果有纳什嵌入定理、纳什—墨瑟定理、德·吉奥吉—纳什定理．2015年纳什获得阿贝尔奖，成为第一位也是目前唯一一位同获诺贝尔奖和阿贝尔奖的学者．纳什的数学思想将成为未来科学研究的核心思想之一．

John Nash, the famous mathematician and economist, put forward the important concept of Nash equilibrium and it has become an important core concept of the game theory. Because of Nash’ s important contribution to the game, he won the 1994 Nash Prize in economics. Nobel contribution in pure math is enormous, especially in differential geometry and partial differential e?quations, so his achievement is more brilliant. The main achievements of Nash, such as Nash embedding theorem, de Giorgi-Nash theorem. In 2015 Nash won the Abel prize, and he is the first and currently the only one with the Nobel Prize and the Abel Prize for mathematics scholar. Nash’ s thought will become one of the core ideas of scientific research in the future.
