在我国现行政绩观和相关制度背景下，地方官员对城镇化发展会存在独特的“偏好”，并在城镇化进程中经常扮演重要的角色，因此地方官员是理解城镇化快速发展的重要一环。本文结合江西省地级市的经验数据，运用倍差法实证分析并定量提取市长和市委书记对辖区城镇化的净影响，发现地方官员对当前城镇化发展具有显著的正相关关系，进而论证了地方官员推动了城镇化发展的假说。
在我國現行政績觀和相關製度揹景下，地方官員對城鎮化髮展會存在獨特的“偏好”，併在城鎮化進程中經常扮縯重要的角色，因此地方官員是理解城鎮化快速髮展的重要一環。本文結閤江西省地級市的經驗數據，運用倍差法實證分析併定量提取市長和市委書記對轄區城鎮化的淨影響，髮現地方官員對噹前城鎮化髮展具有顯著的正相關關繫，進而論證瞭地方官員推動瞭城鎮化髮展的假說。

Under the background of the current political achievement concept and related institutions in China, local offi-cials have a special preference for urbanization and play a very significant and important role in the process of urbanization. They are the important node of understanding the rapid urbanization.With the empirical data of prefecture-level cities in Jian-gxi province, this article uses DID to extract quantitatively the net effect of the mayors and party secretaries on urbanization. The empirical analysis shows that local officials have significant positive effects on the development of urbanization.
