Library's reader service is a kind of art relevant to human language, communicative behavior, and emotional attitude. Along with the increasing demand of social development for knowledge-based talents, more and more people are crowded into the library to enrich their knowledge reserves and ideological connotations. In the face of such situation, how to carries better out the reader service has become an important problem must be solved by the modern library in its developing process. This paper expounds the connotations and basic features of library's reader service art, and probes into the important functions and basic contents of reader service art to further improve the theoretical system of library's reader service art.
