应用型本科院校人才培养目标定位决定了其专业教学体系要体现“应用”二字，其核心环节是实践教学。长春工程学院电子信息工程专业着力突出学生综合应用能力、创新能力、创新精神培养，构建了研创结合、开放式、弹性化的实践教学体系。该实践教学体系由课程实验教学、集中实践教学和第二课堂实践教学三部分组成，体现出课程实验教学和相对独立设置的集中实践教学相结合，从认识、操作到综合创新逐层深入的实践教育特色。
