This paper analyzes the effects of characteristic lecture on the subject construction and local economic development, probes into the participation of local university libraries in the construction of characteristic lecture resources, and pointa out that the characteristic lecture resources should be started in terms of the scopes, types and construction paths of characteristic literature resources.
