The coming of the big data era has brought a major change to the public library's service. Starting from the related basic theories of the big data, this paper analyzes the main features of public library's service under the perspective of the big data, and probes into the change and development paths of public library's service in the big data era for providing beneficial guidance for public library's innovative services.
