This paper briefly expounds the reasons why the utilization ratio of library's seats is lower, introduces the methods and measures for the management of library's seat resources, and based on the library seat management system of Suzhou University, designs a new type of seat management system, which introduces the face recognition and video surveillance modules into the original campus one-card system and location service system, realizes the biological recognition and automatic monitoring functions, and improves the service efficiency of the seats in the reading room.
