Given the paucity of source materials on the Chinese Drama Reform Society, this paper aims to sort out the correspondence between Xiong Foxi and Wang Zhaotong as to the Chinese Drama Reform Society by refer-ring to letters of Liang Shiqiu, Wen Yiduo, Zhu Xiang and Xiong Foxi as well as their memories. .
