The successful application of the "integrated dispatching and controlling" in the Xiluodu and Xiangjiaba Cas-cade Hydropower Stations is systematically demonstrated , especially the technical supports and advantages in the prac-tice.It shows that the key concepts of the "integrated dispatching and controlling" are"dispatching with comprehensive monitoring and controlling of critical points" and "unification of the water and power generation".Practice shows that this management mode can not only ensure the safe and stable operation of the cascade hydropower stations , but also im-proves the electric power production and comprehensive benefits.
