The beating enzyme, whose main ingredient is endo-glucolase, can change the ifber morphology and promote ifbrillation, with decreasing the beating cost and increasing the paper strength. The softwood pulp was adopted for beating experiment both in lab and pilot test, and the best process was conifrmed. The results show that the production cost can be reduced by 14 yuan, and the strength index can increase by 8%.
