With the popularity of tunnel video detection technology at home and aboard in recent years, but because it is too dependent on video image quality,resulting in high false alarm rate of tunnel traffic in-cident. In this paper,we proposed a new mechanism based on Doppler radar and panoramic video linkage, which could reduce the false alarm rate of the traffic incident in the tunnel effectively. At the meantime, it takes the advantages on cost and traffic volume collection. Finally, the relevant suggestions of tunnel-link-age warning system are given.
