This paper introduces a design method of GPES DTU based on FIFO.DTU hardware systems use STM32F101E8 microcontrol er as the main control unit,coordination ES485 transceiver chip MAX3485,ES232 MAX3232 transceiver chip and GPES wireless module MG323 realize GPES DTU configuration and data transfer process.This paper mainly introduces the realization of software architecture and software modules,focuses on the realization of FIFO and its ap-plication in the software system.Processing method of GPES message handling and ES485 bus idle state detection are intro-duced in the context.
