以网络信息资源与体育的交叉为切入点，对网上体育信息资源的类型进行分析，为资源整合奠定现实基础，合理的选择体育学科网络信息整合方法，构建适合体育网络信息的元数据，搭建体育信息的网络共享平台，加快体育信息的传播，促进体育信息的有效应用，减少信息用户的检索体育信息上花费的人力、物力、财力。
