武术并不是表面上“三拳两脚”的动作集锦，它包含着诸多元素，并随着时代的变化而加以整合。处在中西文明碰撞时期及新旧文化交融关节点上的《近代侠义英雄传》是十九世纪二十年代武侠小说的巅峰之作，文章从时代性的角度出发，就其内容的三个方面：武术的基础元素、武术的承载元素、武术的社会元素出发，由表及里、由小及大、由简单到复杂的来层层深入的剖析武术，认为武术是一个多元的综合体，靠武术动作演练来表达基础、武术侠士行为来提升精神、武术比试事件来扩展关系。

Wushu is not on sets of actions with hands and legs, it contains many elements, and integrating with the changes of the times. The novel of Chivalrous Heroes Stories was written in the period of Chinese and western culture collision and blending of old and new culture in the1820s. This article, from the perspective of modernity, studies three aspects of the novel: basic elements of Wushu, Wushu bearing elements, the social elements of Wushu, and analyzes Wushu from the small to the big, from simple to complex layers of Wushu, finds out that Wushu is a complex one, which is expressed by Wushu exercises base, improve spirit through Wushu outlaw hero behaviors, expand relations through Wushu competitions.
