This paper has made attempts to successfully solve the problem of low spray atomization of ammonia liquor and smoke emission during coal leveling through modifying the length, outlet diameter,spray angle and spray pressure of the ammonia liquor spray nozzle. After applying the new nozzle,the pressure at the spray nozzle has been reduced from 3. 5MPa to 2. 5MPa,which has created annual economic benefit of 1. 2 million yuan.
