Based on analysis of the contents of waste gas from tar processing, this paper proposes methods including increasing wash oil cooler and changing baffle plates with packings to improve the recovery rate of waste gas; the unabsorbed waste gas will be sent by fan to the heating furnace for combustion so that the gas emission meet standard requirement. The method could remove off-odour and greatly improve operation environment at site.
