无线移动通信技术近几年取得的快速的发展,尤其在移动互联网的背景,各种网络的架构和协议相继提出,使得网络的融合愈发显得迫切.本文介绍了WIMAX和无线局域网这二种网络的融合.构建了一个网络测试模型,最后在OPNET中对网络融合相应的场景进行了仿真验证,实验表明对这二种网络的融合可以取得良好的效果.

In recent years, wireless mobile communication technology has achieved rapid development, especially in the background of the mobile Internet, various network architectures and protocols have been proposed that makes the network convergence increasingly urgent. This paper introduces network convergence of the WIMAX and wireless LAN, and builds a network test model. Finally the simulation verified the scenario of network integration in the OPNET, and the experiments show that the convergence of two networks can achieve good results.
