Based on level analysis, principal component analysis, and comprehensive analysis of the new in-dex, an evaluation was conducted of the new-type industrial development in Guizhou. The results show that dur-ing the recent over ten years in Guizhou, its industrial development has already entered a high-speed develop-ment level, which is, generally speaking, the take-off period in the early stage of industrialization. In the future, it will experience the strategic transformation in three directions: being park-like, having special features, and maintaining ecological.
