植物化学保护学是植物保护、农学、农艺教育及种子科学与工程专业的一门专业课程，其理论性及实践性较强，在应用型专业技术人才的培养中占有非常重要的地位。针对应用型人才培养的目标，从植物化学保护学教学大纲的修订、理论及实践教学方式方法的更新、“第二课堂”教学的开展等方面进行了实践和探索，取得了良好的教学效果。

Plant chemical protection as a professional course of the majors as plant protection ,agronomy ,agricultural education ,and seed science and engineering ,has the strong theoretical and practical characteristics ,playing an im-portant role in the talents training of applied technology .In connection of the school running objective to train the applied talents ,the paper explores from the revision of plant chemical protection teaching program ,the innovation of theories and practical teaching methods ,Second Class teaching ,and achieved the good results .
