故障电流限制器是解决电网短路电流超标最理想的手段之一,而如何选择合适类型的故障限流器尚未有合理的依据.首先比较短路电流水平和故障电流限制器应用支路短路电流的区别,分析出决定故障电流限制器的主要影响因素;在此基础上,引入CIGRE对故障电流限制器的定义和相关性能指标;最后介绍超导型、并联开关型、串联谐振型、电力电子型故障电流限制器的基本原理和样机、工程应用情况,并归纳出几种故障电流限制器的性能评价指标,为故障电流限制器的工程应用提供依据.

In order to deal with excessive short-circuit current of the power grid, fault current limiters (FCL) are regarded as one of the best means. How to choose the right type of fault current limiter, there is no reasonable basis. The difference between levels of short-circuit current and fault current limiters branch short circuit current is compared. Then, the main factors which affect the current of FCL are analyzed. On this basis, CIGRE definitions and related performance indicators of FCL are introduced. Finally, the basic principles, prototypes and engineering applications of four types of FCL (superconducting, parallel switching, series resonant and power electronics type) are introduced. Simultaneously, the performance evaluation indicators of several fault current limiters are summarized. This paper provides the basis for the engineering applications of a fault current limiter.
