中外合作办学在促进我国高等教育国际化的同时也在促进合作办学高校改进教学与人才培养工作.课程教学与评价机制作为人才培养的核心环节关乎着中外合作办学的水平和质量.本研究以南邮—纽约理工项目为例,通过课堂观摩、教学资料分析、访谈等形式,系统比较了中美方在教学理念、教学方式和评价机制等方面的差异,继而针对中方高校进一步提升课程教学质量提出应真正落实以学生为中心的教学理念、科学地实施多元化的启发式教学方法、深入改革教学考核评价体系、转向关注学生综合素质提高的建议.

When Chinese-foreign cooperative education accelerated the internationalization of Chinese higher education, it also has promoted Chinese universities to improve teaching and talent cultivation.As the core parts of talent cultivation, course teaching and evaluation mechanism are much related to the level and quality of Chinese-foreign cooperative education.Based on the joint programs between Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunication and New York Institute of Technology, this study compared Chinese and American courses in teaching philosophy, teaching mode and evaluation mechanism, and then raises some advice for Chinese universities to improve the quality of course teaching, which includes: to implement the teaching philosophy of"being student-centered", to execute a diversity of the heuristic methods of education, to reform the evaluation system, and to turn to focus on the improvement of students'all-around quality.
