随着第五代移动通信时代的临近,无线通信系统设计面临着更高速率、更大容量的挑战。60 GHz 无线通信技术具有丰富的免许可频段,在未来无线通信应用中有巨大的潜力。针对60 GHz系统应用在短距离通信中的挑战与潜力,从60 GHz频段信道传播、关键技术和相关应用场景展开讨论。相比较低频段系统,60 GHz 信号传播损耗大、系统实现难度高、射频器件非理想特性明显。然而,60 GHz 频段系统拥有带宽资源丰富、信号方向性良好的优势,通过采取恰当的技术手段,60 GHz系统在Wi?Fi、基站无线回传、D2D和异构网络中有着广阔应用前景。

With the coming of the fifth generation of mobile communication, the wireless communications are faced with such challenges as higher data rate and larger system capacity.The 60 GHz band has abundant band resources and is of great potential in future wireless communication applications.Aiming at the challenge and potential of 60 GHz system in short?range communication,the propagation characteristics,key technologies and application scenarios are discussed.Compared with that in band of lower frequency,the signal in 60 GHz band suffers more propagation power loss,more difficulties in implementation and more obvious non?ideality of radio frequency devices.However,in virtue of its band resource and good directional property,the 60 GHz systems still have a wide application prospect in Wi?Fi,base?station backhaul,D2D and heterogeneous networks if proper technologies are adopted.
