植物根系如同复合材料中的纤维，与土体紧密结合形成特殊的根-土复合体，从而提高土体强度和延性，增强边坡稳定性。综合国内外研究学者对植物护坡机理的分析，认为植物根系具有牵拉锚固作用和摩擦加筋作用。为了深入研究不同植物种、不同根型的根-土复合体的护坡贡献及其护坡机理，从微观力学角度，借鉴晶须增强复合材料的增强机理，提出根系具有负荷传递和削弱破坏作用。

Root system is similar to fiber of composite material, which combine closely with soil to form special soil-root composite, consequently enhance soil strength, ductility and slope stability. Through the synthesis of vegetation protection mechanism, root system play role of traction anchoring and friction rein-forcement. In order to intensive study the slope protection contribution and mechanism of different plants and different kinds of soil root composite, the load trans-mission and weaken destructive effects are put forward from the point view of micromechanics, which is reference for the whisker enhancement mechanism.
