孙见光一味执着于农民题材绘画创作而乐此不疲，他曾生活在社会的底层，与下层人民共呼吸、同命运。他将早年坎坷的经历转化为一种艺术感觉和艺术自觉，并一直支配着他农民题材的乡土性创作。在他的绘画作品中，通过描摹从普通农民的最平凡的生活，展示农民的不同精神，言说农民的苦辣酸甜，轻诉农民的喜怒哀乐。

Having been devoting himself to Guangxi rural subject matter ,Sun Jianguang is regarded as an valuable painter . Brought up in underclass ,Sun lives through thick and thin with them ,and his earlier hardship and experiences turn out an esthet‐ic feeling and esthetic consciousness which provides him the painting inspiration in such subject .Through vivid daily living scene , Sun displays various aspects of the peasants ,and depicts their thick and thin ,ups and downs.
