Flat glass industry is one of the high energy consumption ones . Therefore energy conservation and consumption reduction become an inexorable trend for flat glass business . On the basis of analysis of electric energy conservation design the energy conservation measures were emphasized from the following three aspects : energy saving power supply and distribution system , illuminating system and energy saving of powerful devices . Some effective measures for energy conservation were presented in connection with practical situations in flat glass production .
