The water-in-water multicolor imitation stone coatings were prepared by the gel method of cellulose ether-characteristic clay. Many factors influencing the performance and stability of base paint and finished paint were studied by experiment. The water-in-water multicolor initation stone coatings with excellent comprehensive performance were finally obtained.
