The research progress of weatherability and corrosion resistance of polyurethane elastomer coating were introduced. The weatherability of coating were introduced through four aspects:raw materials,additives,molecular structure and use condition. The corrosion resistance of coating highlighted the ability of anti-corrosion under the environment of friction,corrosion liquid and cavitation corrosion. The application of polyurethane elastomer coating in different engineering fields was overviewed.
