Optimized combination of mining conditions with mining methods and mining equipment is an impor-tant means to achieve efficient mining.The paper takes the extraction of steeply inclined unstable thin orebodies in Fu-jia Mine as the engineering background,devises a small sublevel caving method according to the respective character-istics of slicing caving and sublevel caving with no sill pillars.The layout of exploration lines in preparation stage,the extraction process and technical parameters of the small sublevel caving method are stated.The application in the wing orebody on the odd line side in the 80 m level gets satisfactory technical and economical results,and provides technical support for the extraction of similar orebodies.
