Methods and measures adopted for blocking private mining adit mouth after considering the special topographic condition around the Linglong tailings pond are introduced. Based on structural pattern and parameters of blocking materials, key indexes including structural internal force,deflection value,bearing capacity of structure and rupture strength of the blocking materials are calculated,analyzed and verified,which provides a reliable basis for the safety operation of tailings pond at later stage.
