The semantic functions of Japanese formal substantive "mono" are analyzed from a cognition point of view. Meanwhile some conceptual studies are presented. The various implied meaning of "mono" in Japanese sentences are investigated through the theortical analysis. Based on it, the links of grammar in sentence are also discussed.
