Phase equilibrium is the core content in the course of Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics for undergraduate students, gas-liquid equilibrium and vapor-liquid equilibrium are the theoretical basis of the absorption and distillation units. In this work, the mixture equilibrium criterion ^fαi =^fβi was the theoretical basis, the gas-liquid equilibrium and vapor-liquid equilibrium in the application of knowledge in the process of chemical production was introduced. The gas - liquid equilibrium and vapor - liquid equilibrium relationship provided theoretical basis for the improvement of chemical engineering unit and the change of the chemical engineering thermodynamics and the improvement of chemical thermodynamic analysis method, was widely used in the petroleum exploitation, the separation of the mixture, the purification of the medicine, the preservation of food, the protection of the environment, and so on.
