Combined the regional economical development with the talents cultivation of environmental engineering major in Guilin University of Electronic Technology, based on the professional development present situation of our specialty, it was provided that the fundamental requirement of improving the teaching quality of this major was to train more innovative application specialists. To carry out the reform of curriculum system, highlight the comprehensibility, creativity and design ability of experimental teaching, the space for practice teaching was expanded, a collaboration resource sharing face-to-face teaching system was formed. The environmental engineering major in our university should base on the characteristic, strengthen practice, because it was the only effective action to improve the engineering and innovation ability of students.
