Cooperative learning is a new type of teaching method, especially suitable for small classes of business English. In order to increase the effectiveness of cooperative learning, business English teachers should adopt appropri-ate teaching strategies, including pre-class preparation strategy, in-class monitoring strategy and after-class evaluation strategy. It has been proved that the application of cooperative learning strategy to "Business English Writing" can achieve good results.
