出针又称起针，是针刺基本操作技术的最后环节，是针刺达到要求后将毫针取出的方法。针刺过程包括进针、行针和起针，三者相辅相成，共同影响针刺效果，因此既要重视进针和行针手法，也要注重出针手法。然出针手法必须做到因病、因人、因症，根据不同患者、不同疾病、不同部位，采取不同的起针方法。但无论何种出针方法，均应始终以提高疗效为目标、以减轻患者痛苦为宗旨。

Withdrawing needle, so called“Qi Zhen”(pull out of the needle), is the last part of the basic operation technology of acupuncture, which is also a method to withdraw the needle after meeting requirement. The process of acupuncture includes inserting needle, manipulation and withdraw-ing needle, the three parts complement each other and they all affect the efficiency of acupuncture, so we should not only attach importance to insert-ing needle and manipulation, but also should notice the withdrawing manipulating techniques of needle. However, the way we withdraw needle must be done according to illness, people and symptoms, according to different patients, different diseases, different parts and use different methods. Yet, regardless of needle withdrawing methods, we should always take improving efficacy as a goal and alleviate the suffering of patients for the purpose.
